The Room Before the Room

There's a version of a WebZero event that starts with a record and ends with an unexpected conversation. No agenda. Just a listening bar in a Berlin basement, or a DJ workshop in the attic of a Denver mansion, and the kind of energy that only happens when the right people end up in the same room by design.

Curated by creative director Dim Spirit, these cultural sessions have toured through the US and Europe, dropping into cities, pulling in new faces, and creating the conditions for something real to happen. From underground club nights to hands-on creative workshops, each one is built around a shared interest rather than a shared industry. Because it turns out that hobbies are a better introduction than job titles, and taste gets you further than a DM.

The person next to you at a listening bar, nodding at the same record, might be the hardware engineer you've been trying to find for six months. The designer who joins the DJ workshop on a whim might be building something you'd want to be part of. WebZero has always known that the most interesting people in tech are rarely just tech people - they're curious, creative, and looking for a community that reflects that.

These events are how we find them. And how they find us.
